Our scripture this week is one we should all memorize and say often.
Ask yourself these questions?
Am I being a representative of Jesus through my speech and actions? Does my life reflect that I am a child of God?
We need to examine every area of our life and just ask ourselves this simple question. Is what I’m doing, thinking, or saying RIGHT NOW bringing honor and glory to God?
Every day, we are faced with many choices. Some good, some bad. Some may appear good, but in the end, they are no good for us.
Some days we may be doing good and some days we may fail miserably. Each and every day, we need to go to God in prayer for our day and submit to His will!
Lord, help ME to say ‘NO‘ to the things that the world offers us and to say ‘YES‘ to what YOU want me to do! Help me to align myself with your word and your will and Father I pray that everything I do brings you honor and glory and that I represent you well on this side of Heaven.
Remember we have been set apart as Holy, This means that every part of our life should conform to what God’s word says. We should demonstrate a life that is different from the world.
So if you are about to do something or say something, say this verse and ask yourself those questions stated earlier. Let it help guide you in what you say or do each day.
And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟯:𝟭𝟳
