I don’t know about you, but I have several Bibles in my house. It makes me think of those countries where the Bible is illegal and how believers there cherish the word of God when they are given a Bible. I bet they know the Bible better than I do and that they also know how important it is to memorize scriptures!
Back when I was in high school, my youth pastor had us go through a scripture memorization class. Many years later, I still remember some of them, but I’m a little rusty right now and need to brush up on those scriptures.
So, I’m starting this challenge to get back to memorizing scriptures on a regular basis.
I’m starting with an easy scripture that serves as a foundation for why we need to memorize scriptures. I hope you will join me. Get your kids involved as well!
