You are not alone!
Above is a picture of me when I was a wee kid with my dad. Dad was a wrestler, Heavy Weight Champion of Europe, in his youth. I remember days like this so much when my dad would hold me.
When I was in my dad’s hands I felt safe. I felt like the strongest person in the world. I had no fear of anything because I was with my dad and he was like a superhero to me. There was nothing I could not do, nothing was impossible!
Was that my power? Was that my strength?
No, because I knew and trusted that my dad would take care of me. In fact, I didn’t even need to think about it or do anything.
Right now, during this Corona Virus outbreak that the world is experiencing, times are crazy right now. There are certainly many real things to fear and to be worried about.
This picture reminds me of our relationship with our Heavenly Father. Instead of worrying about the unknown, we just need to take all our concerns to our daddy God and trust him.
He will take care of you.
He promises that through the fire and flood He will be with you, guiding you, drawing near to you. Just reach out your hand and grab hold.
Check out this scripture.
“I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.”
>Isaiah 46:3-4 NLT
If you need to talk to someone or pray with someone, just reach out and I would be happy too.
